Rick and Susie Jenkins, in partnership with Terry Clouse, opened Builder's Express on January 2, 1988. Seven years later, Susie's brothers, Jim and Anthony Willis, came to work in the business, and Terry Clouse sold them his interests. At that time Builder's Express became one hundred percent family owned.

The Willis and Jenkins family members, along with good, dependable, and dedicated employees, have worked hard to make the business grow into a reputable retail hardware and building supply store.
